1 John 2:24 Those who keep his commandments remain in Him, and he in them, and the way we know that he remains in us is from the Spirit whom he gave us.
Father God, thank you for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to strengthen us in faith, hope, and love. Through empowerment of the Holy Spirit our hearts are open to your presence among us and within us. In stillness, we turn to you for refuge and peace in time of need and to hear your voice guiding us in the way of truth and holiness.
Today in Matthew 4:23, Jesus proclaimed the Gospel of the Kingdom and cured every disease among the people.
Lord, give us Grace to turn you to cure the painful hearts of those who are experiencing sadness from sickness and death. Let us our voices of prayer and compassion help them to draw near to you and encounter Your merciful love working in them as they draw nearer to you.
In the Name of the Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit. Amen.
