First Holy Communion Celebration – St. Benedict the Abbot Saturday, May 2, 2026 • 5:00 p.m. Mass

On Saturday evening, our parish family at St. Benedict the Abbot rejoiced as 51 Faith Formation (CCE) students received their First Holy Communion during the 5:00 p.m. Mass. Surrounded by parents, godparents, catechists, and a supportive community of faith, the children approached the altar with reverence and joy to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time.
The liturgy was filled with gratitude, beautiful music, and the prayerful presence of our parish community. Each child was photographed as a keepsake of this sacred milestone, capturing the grace and excitement of the day.
Following Mass, families gathered in the parish hall for a joyful reception. Additional photos were taken, allowing loved ones to celebrate, share memories, and honor the children’s spiritual journey. The hall was filled with smiles, fellowship, and heartfelt appreciation for the catechists and volunteers who helped prepare the students throughout the year.
We give thanks for these young disciples and pray that the gift of the Eucharist continues to nourish and strengthen them as they grow in faith, hope, and love.
Congratulations to our First Communicants!
May Christ, the Bread of Life, remain their constant guide and companion.
