Baptism
1
Baptism is the first sacrament that one will receive in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments."
Who can be baptized?
Anyone who has never been baptized is eligible to receive this sacrament. The sacrament is only received once. Adults seeking Baptism are encouraged to join RCIA. Children from ages 7-18 that need to be baptized are encouraged to join RCIA for children, and those under the age of 7 will qualify for our Infant Baptism process.

If the godparent has married, divorced and subsequently entered into a new marital relationship without an annulment, this situation should be discussed with the appropriate pastoral staff member. Pre-registration is required, please contact the parish office for the English or Spanish class.
