Luke 2:40 The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.
The Child Jesus who grew and became strong and filled with the Holy Spirit’s gifts of Wisdom was sent by God the Father to dwell among us. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14).
We give praise to God for blessing us with the gift of Wisdom from the Holy Spirit. Through Wisdom we have understanding, knowledge and strength to pray fervently to overcome evil in this fallen world and see others as God sees them. We pray to dedicate our lives to love and service to God and follow the way of His Son Jesus in spirit and truth.
In the Name of the Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit. Amen.
