A Parishioner's Prayer

A Prayer Warrier
Barbara Brandyberg

Good Morning ☀️🤲🙏🏾☦️❤️

02 May 2025

Acts of the Apostles 5:34-35, 38-40.  A Pharisee in the Sanhedrin named Gamaliel,…. stood up, ordered the Apostles to be put outside for a short time and said to the Sanhedrin, "Fellow children of Israel, be careful what you are about to do to these men…. 38 have nothing to do with these men, and let them go. They were persuaded by him. After recalling the Apostles, they had them flogged, ordered them to stop speaking in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them. So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been found worthy

to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name.

Lord God, we thank you for giving us faith to stand strong against those who do not believe in You and information and teachings that are not of you.

Prepare our hearts with prayer, dedication to Your teachings and deep love for You to be able to stand firm when our faith is tested.  We pray for Wisdom and Understanding of the Truth of the Gospel so we may not be persuaded to follow the ways of the world instead of following Your Word, Commandments and the path of Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Empowered by The Holy Spirit and God’s Holy Word.
