The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Today the Church celebrates the profound mystery at the heart of our faith: Christ truly present in the Eucharist—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Corpus Christi invites us not only to remember the gift of the Last Supper, but to renew our awe, our gratitude, and our devotion to the sacrament that sustains us.

The Eucharist is more than a symbol. It is Christ Himself, given for the life of the world. In every Mass, we encounter the same Jesus who fed the crowds, healed the sick, forgave sinners, and offered Himself on the Cross. He comes to us in humility, under the appearance of bread and wine, so that we may receive His strength, His mercy, and His love.

🌿 A Feast of Presence and Communion

This solemnity reminds us that:

  • We are a Eucharistic people. Christ nourishes us so that we may become His presence in the world.

  • We are united as one Body. The Eucharist draws us beyond ourselves, forming us into a community rooted in charity and service.

  • We are sent forth. What we receive at the altar must be lived out in our homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

In a world hungry for peace, compassion, and hope, the Eucharist becomes our source of renewal. It strengthens us to love as Christ loves and to carry His light into places of darkness.

Prayer for June

Gracious and loving God,
As we enter the month of June, open our hearts to the quiet work of Your Spirit.
Bless the longer days with renewed strength, deeper peace, and a fresh desire to walk in Your light.

May Your wisdom guide our choices, Your mercy steady our steps, and Your love shape all we do.
Keep our parish united in faith, generous in service, and joyful in hope.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
